THL-2012 Prophetic and Apocalyptic Literature
The Bible contains a diversity of prophetic and apocalyptic currents that find root in the ancient Middle-East. The apocalyptic genre is within this continuity but also diverges with the earlier prophetic genre. A presentation of Biblical prophetic and apocalyptic literature helps our understanding of the New Testament upon which Christian theology was built during its formative years. Exegesis of selected texts from prophetic and apocalyptic books of the Old Testament.
